Immediate Lead Positioning Feedback for ML based wearable ECG

چکیده
Wearable ECG devices are used in combination with smartphones to capture, analyze and transmit ECG data to far away hospitals where doctors analyze, diagnose and provide necessary patient feedback. ECG electrode cable misplacement is a significant challenge when untrained patients use them, especially among rural population. Lead misplacement algorithms exists for standard ECG electrode positioning, but poses different challenges for Mason-Likar placement, which is most suited for ambulatory ECG measurements. We discuss ECG morphology based lead misplacement detection algorithms for Mason-Likar configuration, that can provide immediate feedback to patients.

متن کاملECG Monitoring in Wearable Devices by Sparse Models
Because of user movements and activities, heartbeats recorded from wearable devices typically feature a large degree of variability in their morphology. Learning problems, which in ECG monitoring often involve learning a user-specific model to describe the heartbeat morphology, become more challenging. Our study, conducted on ECG tracings acquired from the Pulse Sensor – a wearable device from ...

Some heart diseases need long-term monitoring to diagnose. In this paper, we present a wearable single lead ECG monitoring device with low power consumption based on MSP430 and single-lead ECG front-end AD8232, which could acquire and store patient’s ECG data for 7 days continuously. This device is available for long-term wearing with a small volume. Also, it could detect user’s motion status w...
متن کاملWearable Medical Devices
A wearable medical device can be defined as a device that is autonomous, that is noninvasive, and that performs a specific medical function such as monitoring or support over a prolonged period of time. The term ‘‘wearable’’ implies that the support environment is either the human body or a piece of clothing. Handheld and portable devices are therefore not strictly speaking wearable, but this d...

Power supply quality and stability are critical for wearable and implantable biomedical applications. For this reason we have designed a reconfigurable switched-capacitor DC-DC converter that, aside from having an extremely small footprint (with an active on-chip area of only 0.04 mm²), uses a novel output voltage control method based upon a combination of adaptive gain and discrete frequency s...
